What we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, organisation, and the content of your message.
How we use your information
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, to keep a record of our correspondence, and to manage our relationship with partners and supporters. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
We process the information you send us on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the organisation.
Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except service providers that help us operate, such as our email and website hosting providers, and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months from the date of your last contact with us, and then we delete them. We may keep records for longer where we have a legal or contractual reason to do so.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw your consent. To make a request, email info@celi.org.ng.
